The HaHa Bistro
Open daily for lunch the HaHa at Hob green may be taken for exclusive use for evening dinner parties and celebrations.
A ha-ha is a sunken boundary to a landscaped garden often found in the grounds of country houses and estates. It was used as a means of keeping the cattle and sheep out without interruption of view. Its name is derived form the response of ordinary folk on encountering this type of hidden boundary; "Ha! Ha!" being an expression of surprise.
Our ha-ha is at the far side of the lawn.
